Rebecca Loos Reacts to "Nasty" Comments Amid Resurfaced David Beckham Affair Allegations

Rebecca Loos has a message for her critics.
In David Beckham's newly released Netflix documentary series Beckham, the soccer star and his wife Victoria Beckham reflected on past affair allegations, detailing the effect it had on their marriage.
Now, Rebecca, David's former assistant who said in 2004 that they had an affair, has responded to social media commentary sent her way in the wake of the docuseries.
After an Instagram user remarked that some of the comments underneath a recent post were "disgusting," she responded, "Thank you, am taking in the nasty comments with as much humour as I can."
In the fourth episode of Beckham, both David and Victoria—who tied the knot in 1999—discussed the media reports that surfaced in the early aughts accusing the athlete of cheating on the Spice Girls member after his move from Manchester United to Real Madrid.
"There was some horrible stories that were difficult to deal with," David, who had slammed rumors about the affair at the time, recalled in the doc. "It was the first time that me and Victoria had been put under that kind of pressure in our marriage."
Reflecting on the rumors publicly for the first time, Victoria shared that the accusations took an immense toll on their relationship.
"It was the hardest period for us," she said. "Because it felt like the world was against us. And here's the thing, we were against each other if I'm being completely honest. You know, up until Madrid, sometimes it felt like us against everybody else. But we were together, we were connected, we had each other."
She added, "But when we were in Spain, it didn't really feel like we had each other either. And that's sad."
In fact, Victoria admitted that the media "circus" surrounding the couple was a time unlike any other. "It was probably, if I'm being honest," she said, "the most unhappy I have ever been in my entire life."
However, Victoria and David—who share kids Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper—were able push past the storm and move forward.
"I don't know how we got through it in all honesty," David noted. "Victoria's everything to me. To see her hurt was incredibly difficult. But, we're fighters. And at that time, we needed to fight for each other, we needed to fight for our family. And what we had was worth fighting for."
