Rachel Bilson is setting the record straight on those Big O comments.
The O.C. star clarified her previous remarks surrounding her sex life, in which she confessed that she had never experienced an orgasm through penetration until her mid-30s.
"I had Whitney Cummings on my Broad Ideas podcast and she was explaining to me that she got off birth control and at 40 she was able to have an orgasm through sex," Rachel shared during her March 23 appearance on The Nick Viall Files podcast. "I just jumped on that and I was like, 'When I was older I was able to do that too.'"
But don't get it twisted, because the 41-year-old clarified, "It has nothing to do with any partner… It had to do with me knowing my body."
And although Rachel promises there was no one to blame, rumors still swirled in the aftermath of her revelation about who may have been bad or good in bed.
"Apparently there were names brought up in both regards and I am not OK with that, because it had nothing to do with that," continued Rachel, who shares 8-year-old daughter Briar Rose with ex Hayden Christensen. Host Nick Viall chimed in, "We're not shaming any exes."
"Or giving a trophy to any other exes," she quipped. "Nobody was involved other than myself."
As for the comments that fueled the online speculation in the first place, the Hart of Dixie alum had admitted on her podcast March 13: "It didn't happen for me until I was about 38," noting, "Isn't that crazy?"
Speaking with Nick, she said she never lied or faked it with a partner.
"I will give credit where credit is due and you can still have really good sex without it, but I don't like to lie," she said. "I do think it's nice when the dude like checks in with you, too, of course. But I am a people pleaser. This is a problem of mine: I can get pretty old fashioned. I have to take care of my dude and I fall into that pattern. But as I've gotten older, I think I've gotten more vocal and more comfortable with being vocal about it."
Her latest sex life confession come a year after she told listeners in August 2022 that what she missed most about ex-boyfriend Bill Hader—whom she dated from 2019-2020—was "his big dick!"
But her NSFW comments come as no surprise, as Rachel has been vocal about growing up in "a sex-positive and free and candid" household—something she now implements in her adult life.
"I'm 40 years old," she shared on Yahoo! Life's The Unwind series in July 2022. "Like, the things that my friends and I talk about shouldn't be taboo, you know? It should feel like a safe space to be open, because so many people go through similar things. And what's better than to have a support system, or feel like you're being heard and having a space to do so?"
And it seems like these days, the Os are going strong, as Rachel revealed on the Call Her Daddy podcast in September 2022 that her current mystery man is "bringing her missionary" sex, after being asked by host Alex Cooper.
Rachel simply stated, "f--k yeah."
